Fitness Tip | WEIGHTS FOR ARTHRITIS
A recent study, funded by Arthritis Research UK, has indicated that a regular weight training programme may help treat rheumatoid arthritis.
The study, which involved 28 patients, found that basic functions - such as walking - were improved in those that exercised with weights.
The researchers at Bangor & Gwynedd Hospital proposed that high intensity exercise (such as weight training) could play a significant role alongside drug treatment.
