Fitness Tip | TREAT YOUR FEET
Wearing abrasive, uncomfortable or damp socks during a workout may impact your ability to exercise comfortably, and the extra friction may also cause another unpleasant surprise - a liquid-filled blister. To save your feet from needless wear and tear, upgrade the regular cotton socks to form-fitting foot wear with moisture-wicking power.
To get the right pair of exercise socks, look for these features:-
- Stretchability: The socks should stretch and form around the curves of your foot, with little to no slipping.
- Quality, natural-based materials: These help wick away moisture and support the foot. These types of materials include wool, organic cotton or a mixture of the two.
- Breathability: The socks should allow microscopic pockets of air to enter and leave your feet without feeling draughty.
In addition, the sock should feel comfortable regardless of how you move your feet. If it just doesn't feel right for your feet, move onto a different brand.
