Fitness Tip | TIMING YOUR EATING & EXERCISE
Eating just before a workout can have nauseating consequences, even with light aerobic exercise. Sudden and vigorous activity may be nauseating, forcing your nutritious lunch out the way it came. The body is also unable to digest the food and use these nutrients in time to boost energy levels.
Therefore, to boost these energy levels effectively, consume a nutritious meal three to four hours before exercising. If it's a small snack or meal, plan to wait one to two hours.
Make sure that the meal contains plenty of protein, healthy carbohydrates and nutrient-rich vegetables, which safely boosts your blood glucose. Also, try to avoid eating sugary or processed foods, which do not improve energy levels and will probably lead to an inevitable sugar crash.
