
Diet Tips | SWAP YOUR CHOCOLATE
Healthy eating doesn't necessarily mean that you have to give up all your favourite treats. For example, if you love chocolate, consider swapping your favourite chocolate bar for a steaming cup of sugar-free cocoa.
Unlike the chocolate bar, it contains a fraction of the calories, no "real" sugar, and won't encourage your blood glucose to spike rapidly - allowing you to indulge without guilt. Yet if it's still not as sweet as you’d desire, consider adding a packet of stevia, a non-sugar sweetener.
A drop of chocolate-flavoured soy milk also tastes great with cocoa, with the added bonus of containing extra nutrients, such as magnesium, selenium and manganese.
