Diet Tip | SKIP CAFFEINE, DRINK WATER
Want to increase your endurance while working out? Sipping coffee or soda may help, but often causes numerous side effects even when taken in moderation, including blurred vision, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, anxiety and even diarrhoea.
When paired with exercise, caffeine also causes dehydration, putting a person at risk for permanent brain damage, seizures or fainting if left untreated.
If you want to fuel up before a workout, make it healthy. Cut out the caffeine and choose healthier, more vitamin-rich beverages, such as all-natural fruit or vegetable juices. Better yet, sip a glass of water instead. It's still the best way to stay hydrated before, after and during a workout.
