Therefore, consider joining a support group, either in person or online, as it’s a great way to stay motivated and focused.
Unlike discussing it with a friend, everything you mention within a support group is confidential so it’s highly unlikely that your entire social network will find out about your latest dieting mishap – which can be very demotivating to say the least!
It also creates a comfortable environment for you to express your true feelings about situations which prevent you from eating healthily. Other members also tend to offer sound advice – based on their own experiences - for staying on track through tough times, something only learned through trial and error.
